This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing payments made to J29 Edu Consulting for consultations, advisory services, application support, and related educational consulting services.
By purchasing or engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. General Policy
J29 Edu Consulting is committed to providing professional educational consulting services. Due to the nature of advisory and consulting work, refunds may not be available once services have commenced or resources have been allocated.
Each refund request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
2. Consultation Services
Consultation Cancellation by Client
If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation:
- Requests made at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
- Requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled consultation may be treated as a missed appointment and may not qualify for a refund.
Missed Appointments
If a client fails to attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice, the consultation fee may be forfeited.
At our discretion, a new appointment may be offered.
3. Educational Consulting and Application Support Services
Once work has commenced on:
- School applications
- Institution matching
- Document reviews
- Admissions support
- Scholarship support
- Related consulting activities
fees paid may become partially or fully non-refundable depending on the amount of work already completed.
Refunds will generally not be granted for services that have already been delivered.
4. Third-Party Fees
J29 Edu Consulting is not responsible for fees paid directly to third parties, including but not limited to:
- Educational institutions
- Application portals
- Credential evaluation organizations
- Government agencies
- Visa processing authorities
- Testing providers
Such fees are subject to the refund policies of the respective organizations.
5. No Refund for External Decisions
Refunds will not be issued based solely on:
- Admission denial
- Scholarship denial
- Visa refusal
- Study permit refusal
- Program closure
- Changes in institutional requirements
- Government policy changes
These decisions are made independently by third-party institutions and authorities and are outside the control of J29 Edu Consulting.
6. Service Termination
J29 Edu Consulting reserves the right to discontinue services where:
- False or misleading information is provided
- Fraudulent documents are submitted
- A client engages in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct
- Continued engagement would violate legal or ethical obligations
In such cases, refunds may be denied where work has already been performed.
7. Processing of Approved Refunds
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.
- Processing times may vary depending on payment providers and financial institutions.
- Administrative fees or non-recoverable third-party charges may be deducted where applicable.
8. Changes to This Policy
J29 Edu Consulting reserves the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time.
Updated versions will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
